INFORM Magazine contributors' guidelines


If you wish to submit articles or stories to us for publication, it is essential that you know the magazine, our vision and our values, so you need to be a subscriber.

Real life stories and articles that fall within our focus areas are always welcome. Occasionally we will publish interviews and recipes. Poetry and fiction will not be accepted.

We maintain the right to edit or adjust any article, space/content dependent.

If an author wishes to republish an article or feature that has been published in INFORM, as a courtesy we ask that we be notified in writing.

All submissions must be made via email to sue.botes@wwnetw.com. We do not pay for submissions at present.

Wonderful Women Core Values


GENERAL
Wonderful Women - and, by extension, INFORM magazine - is all about being good for women. Although secular in style, content needs to be in line with Godly principles, truthful and uplifting. Before you submit, please make a point of studying the type of articles and stories we publish.

Numbers from one to ten are written in full. From eleven upwards, numbers are written in numerals, unless a number refers to a broad term - e.g. "...a thousand years..." "...a million words..."

When numbers below and above ten appear in close proximity to each other, they should be written in numerals - e.g. "...between the ages of 8 and 12..."

WORD COUNT
1 page = 650 words
1 1/2 pages = 850 words
2 pages = 1300 words

FONT TYPE
Times New Roman 10.5

LAYOUT STYLE
* Do not BOLD, ITALICISE or UNDERLINE text.
* Full stops and colons should be followed by SINGLE spaces, not double spaces.

LANGUAGE
We use UK English only.

SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES
Please submit to sue@wwnetw.com in MS Word format (97-2003 or the latest version) at any time.

We will e-mail our intention to use the piece within 30 days.

We will not necessarily inform you if your submission has been rejected - but we will try.

We will confirm receipt if you place a read receipt request (only on articles/stories submitted - not follow ups).
